Orange Jordan draws smiles on residents’ faces at the White Beds Society
As part of the first activity under the “Orsom Basmeh”, (Draw a Smile) initiative, a number of the company's employees recently visited White Beds Society located in “Al-Juwaideh”. The initiative aims to deepen the concept of social solidarity, draw smiles and spread good deeds in local communities during different events.
Chief Human Resources Officer, Ghada Jamal Fares said that the “Orsom Basmeh” initiative is a bridge that connects employees within Orange Jordan’s community with the rest of the Jordanian society, brining proximity, while reducing barriers and developing relationships between them, as part of the company’s and its employees’ contribution in bringing about desired positive changes in the local community.
Fares affirmed the importance of Orange Jordan’s role in serving the local community, pointing out that the company demonstrates, through “Orsom Basmeh” initiative, its employees’ sense of responsibility towards the community, and emphasizes the concepts of goodness and spreading happiness among individuals.
It is worth noting that the visit was in the attendance of Tkiyet Um Ali and included entertaining and joyful activities, as well as the distribution of souvenirs, which left a positive impression on both, residents and employees of the Society.
Community work is among the most important priorities of Orange Jordan, and is based on the company's corporate social responsibility plan which aims to strengthen the bonds and relationship with the local community in a way that responds to its needs, and contributes to supporting social solidarity and improving the lives across all segments.
