King Abdullah II attends funeral of former French president Jacques Chirac
His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday attended the funeral of former French president Jacques Chirac at the Church of Saint-Sulpice. King Abdullah paid condolences to French President Emmanuel Macron and Chirac’s family.
France had declared Monday a day of national mourning over the passing of Chirac, who died on Thursday. Later in the day, His Majesty returned to the Kingdom, according to a Royal Court statement.
