Ipsos Jordanian Consumer Sentiment Index

Jordanian Consumer Sentiment Index (JCSI) is a quarterly national survey that sheds light on consumers' attitudes towards current and future state of the local economy, personal finance situations, as well as savings and confidence to make large investments.

The results show a 2.0-point increase between the fourth quarter of 2022 and first quarter of 2023. This increase is mainly driven by improved confidence in Jordanians personal financial situation, employment, and investment climate. That said, more than 6 in 10 Jordanians remain to have a negative outlook towards the current economic. This continues to be primarily driven by their concerns regarding the high cost of living/inflation and unemployment.
