Farewell reception for Ambassador of France to Jordan H.E. Mr. David BERTOLOTTI

Amman, Jun 30: The CCI France International – CAFRAJ represented by H.E. Mr. Akel Biltaji, Chairman of CAFRAJ, in collaboration with Armoush Group represented by Mr. Ahmad Armoush, Chairman of CMA-CGM Jordan, organized a farewell reception in honor of H.E. Mr. David Bertolotti, the French Ambassador to Jordan. The reception took place at Mr. Armoush’s residence, on Sunday June 30, 2019.

Senior Jordanian and French officials, ambassadors, diplomats and partners attended the reception, who acknowledged the role of the Ambassador Mr. Bertolotti for further strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Speeches by their excellences, H.E. Mr. Biltaji and Ambassador Bertolotti, were made expressing their gratitude for the continuous collaboration with CAFRAJ, who has always been a major link of support to both of the French and Jordanian entrepreneurs and investors aiming at growing and expanding their businesses in both countries.

“CAFRAJ is proud to announce that the number of members has exceeded 400.”

He also added: “CAFRAJ presents all sectors of cooperation between our two countries,”

His Excellency highlighted the “deep-rooted” relations between Jordan and France, noting that French investments are still the number one foreign investments in the kingdom.  

In his remarks, Ambassador Bertolotti, thanked Mr. Armoush for his great host for the gathering of the business community. He also thanked the Jordanian companies, colleagues and friends from all circles for the valuable support rendered to him.

“CAFRAJ has become a very powerful organization with 400 members and as an ambassador of France, I felt very blessed to be able to work with and rely on such group of vary senior individuals of various successful companies and on a very effective team at CAFRAJ,” a statement by the Ambassador, adding: “It is very unusual to deploy what we now call of foreign service “economic diplomacy”, and not having something like the Chamber of Commerce would have made it a lot more difficult, for that a big -thank you!”
