Economic Council of the French Embassy: "Jordan as a platform for the Reconstruction of Iraq"
This year’s Economic Council of the French Embassy was held on Tuesday 9th of April by invitation of H.E. Mr. David Bertolotti.
The subject was ”Jordan as a platform for the Reconstruction of Iraq” in the presence of H.E. Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Dr. Tareq Hammouri.
The Economic Council, which is organized on a yearly basis, is an informal advisory body which aims at gathering major French companies and investors in the Kingdom along with Jordanian participants such as government officials and private sector representatives. This informal “public-private” council provides an advisory platform for the ambassador to discuss the priorities of bilateral economic partnership. It also contributes to a mutual dialogue on further collaborative methods to enhance the French economic presence in Jordan in terms of trade and investment.
