Amman, Jordan (July 2019): Alkan International Motors, the exclusive dealer for Renault in Jordan, has won the tender of the 100 new Renault Zoe 2020 cars to the Greater Amman Municipality in recognition of the eco-friendly features and stylish design offered by the vehicles. Renault Zoe's specifications coincided with the stringent bidding requirements of the Greater Amman Municipality
The delivery of the vehicles was announced at a reception under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al-Shawarbeh, in the presence of Alkan International Chairman Mr. Taher Shaheen, General Manager of Renault Jordan Mr. Alaa Al Duwaik and a number of well-known personalities and media representatives
The move marks Renault's leadership position in the field of electric vehicle manufacturing, with a 120-year history of automotive sales, with advanced car sales and numerous prestigious awards. The new class of the Zoe electric vehicle features a standard of 300 km in length, as well as dynamic sports design and intelligent and innovative technologies, including its carbon-free electric motor, which reduces air pollution.
