CCI FRANCE JORDANIE – CAFRAJ Elects New Board of Directors for 2026–2028 Term

Amman, Jordan – The CCI FRANCE JORDANIE – CAFRAJ (French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jordan), a key player in fostering Franco-Jordanian economic ties, held its Regular General Assembly Meeting on May 17, 2026. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Franck Gellet, French Ambassador to Jordan, alongside members of the Assembly.
The Chamber presented its 2025 financial report, audited and approved, alongside a comprehensive administrative report outlining the Chamber’s major achievements over the past year. The Assembly engaged in forward-looking discussions to shape the future direction and priorities of CAFRAJ for the upcoming phase.
The Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term was elected by acclamation, marking a new chapter for the Chamber. The newly elected Board of Directors is composed of distinguished leaders from prominent Franco-Jordanian businesses. Mr. Ahmad ARMOUSH (CMA CGM Jordan) was elected chairman, and Mr. Philippe MANSOUR (Jordan Telecom Group “ORANGE”) vice chairman. The other elected members are Mr. Walid ZURUB (Jordan French Insurance CO – JOFICO), , Mr. Nicolas DEVILLER (Airport International Group), Mr. Jad HREIBE (Meridiam Jordan), Mr. Masoud Abdelmajid (Hikma Pharmaceuticals), Mr. Wael Bayyari (Capital Bank Jordan), Mr. Sharif Zubi (Zubi Advocate), and Mr. Hassan Abdallah (Veolia).
Ahmad ARMOUSH, the newly appointed Chairman of CAFRAJ, expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Board members for their dedication and wished the new Board success in advancing the Chamber’s mission. Ahmad ARMOUSH thanks H.E. Franck Gellet for the continuous support of the French Embassy in Jordan.
H.E. Franck Gellet, French Ambassador to Jordan, emphasized the pivotal role of CAFRAJ in strengthening Franco-Jordanian business cooperation and attracting new investors. He highlighted that CAFRAJ is consequently a key stakeholder in helping to seize opportunities that Syria's reconstruction and the diversification of regional routes represent for Jordan. In this regard, he pointed out that the Kingdom has among its assets, its central geographical location and stability. Finally, he called for expanded connection with the ecosystem in both Jordan and France.
Established in August 1998 as a Franco-Jordanian Business Club, CAFRAJ became an affiliate of CCI France International in 2002. As part of a global network of 126 French bilateral chambers across 95 countries, CAFRAJ represents France, the largest European investor in Jordan. The Chamber is committed to supporting its members in achieving their professional goals and advancing commercial, economic, and social cooperation between France and Jordan.
